Descubrí la obra de Spencer hace tiempo y observé su trabajo pensando en que me gustaría conocerle. Así fue. 

Su sensibilidad extrema, algo que se puede percibir en su obra, refleja a una persona especial.

 

Hablar de su obra sin hablar del artista no tendría sentido, porque el trabajo habla de la profundidad del ser.

Gran observador del mundo, meticuloso, detallista hasta el final. 

Su habilidad para atraer a tantas personas a participar en sus manifestaciones artísticas raya en lo prodigioso.

 

Desnudarse no es quitarse la ropa, sino despojarse de todo para comprender quienes somos, a dónde vamos y de dónde venimos.

Él observa pues, la vida, como si nada fuera necesario. Y así debe ser. 

 

Abrir la mente no es tarea fácil. Pero él abre muchas, muchas y al mismo tiempo. Esa es, para mí, la tarea de un verdadero artista. 

Hasta yo misma he querido posar para él. Me pregunto por qué y lo único que se me vino a la cabeza en ese momento fué un gran deseo de libertad.

 

Los cuerpos reposan como parte de un entorno, como defensa de los derechos humanos, cubriendo una gran parte del todo, dirigidos hacia un mundo mejor y desconocido, abducidos mientras

el ente descansa. 

El resultado es de un impacto inmediato en el que no ves la cara de tu amigo, sino un conjunto de seres iguales.

 

Destacan también sus trabajos individuales, todos con un cierto carácter irónico y diferente, donde la vergüenza queda relegada a otro plano y en el que la belleza se impone.

 

La seguridad y la inocencia se mezclan tanto en su obra como en su persona. En ambos, se siente el brillo.

 

Incansable y disciplinado, se mueve fuera de los contextos habituales, donde su arte se ha hecho a sí mismo.

 

Esta muestra, primera exposición retrospectiva del artista en España, recoge literalmente su alma. Es para mí y para todos, un estar entre dos mundos, un regalo del Universo.

I discovered Spencer's work some time ago and I watched his work thinking that I would like to meet him. That's how it went.

His extreme sensitivity, something that can be perceived in his work, reflects a special person.

 

Talking about his work without talking about the artist would not make sense, because the work talks about the depth of being.

Great observer of the world, meticulous, retailer until the end.

His ability to attract so many people to participate in his artistic manifestations borders on the prodigious.

 

Undressing is not taking off your clothes, but stripping yourself of everything to understand who we are, where we are going and where we come from.

He thus observes life, as if nothing were necessary. And so it must be.

 

Opening the mind is not an easy task. But he opens many, many and at the same time. That is, for me, the task of a true artist.

I even wanted to pose for him. I wonder why and the only thing that came to my mind at that time was a great desire for freedom.

 

The bodies rest as part of an environment, as a defense of human rights, covering a large part of the whole, directed towards a better and unknown world, abducted while the being rests.

The result is an immediate impact in which you do not see the face of your friend, but a set of equal beings.

 

They also emphasize their individual works, all with a certain ironic and different character, where shame is relegated to another plane and in which beauty prevails.

 

Security and innocence are mixed both in his work and in his person. In both, you feel the shine.

 

Tireless and disciplined, he moves outside the usual contexts, where his art has made itself.

 

This exhibition, the artist's first retrospective exhibition in Spain, literally picks up his soul. It is for me and for all, a being between two worlds, a gift from the Universe.
